Features

Having a 90* Side Shift gives you the total solution to flexible, fast and high capacity fencing work. The Series 89 Percussion Post Driver is positioned 90* to the Tractor as per figure 1 above.  The Tractor can than be driven along one side of the guide wire, with the Post Driver retracted out of the way of the posts and wires. The Series 89 Driver is moved Hydraulically to its extended position clear of the Tractor wheel for fast and accurate inline setting. Once the post is set the unit is quickly and safely retracted inside the wheel track on the Tractor ( some wheel tracks can vary).

On the Elgra 90* Side Shift the 2pl Head Stock can be unbolted and repositioned to move the Percussion Driver towards to rear Tractor Tires or away from the rear Tractor Tires. As some Tractors have short or long 2pl arms, and this changes the lifting capacity of a Tractor.

The reason Elgra use hard self lubricated Nylon for their Guide Blocks, as this allows the extending rails not to require any form of lubrication. This eliminates dust and grim build up over a short period of time.
